14-Day Cancellation Grace Period & Auto-Revocation
When an account deletion is requested, your account enters a 14-day grace period. If you change your mind and log back into Plantus within 14 days, your deletion request is automatically cancelled with zero data loss.
After 14 days, all plant collections, photos, diagnosis histories, and authentication credentials are permanently and irrevocably erased from our cloud databases.
Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion
Fastest and recommended method
- Open the Plantus App on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the Profile tab (bottom right icon).
- Tap on Preferences & Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your request. You will be signed out immediately and the 14-day schedule begins.
Method 2: Secure Web Verification Request
For users who have uninstalled the app from their mobile device
Security Verification Protection: For your security, account deletion cannot be executed anonymously. Submitting this form sends a single-use 15-minute confirmation link to your registered email address. Your account will only be scheduled for deletion once you click that confirmation link.
