At Plantus ("we", "our", or "us"), we believe that your personal data and plant collection photos belong to you. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it is processed to provide botanical services, and the security protocols we employ across iOS, Android, and web.
2. Information We Collect
- Plant & Mushroom Photos: Images uploaded or captured with your camera are processed securely by machine learning models to identify species and diagnose plant diseases.
- Approximate Location: Used solely to fetch hyper-local weather conditions (humidity, sunlight, temperature) to calculate watering schedules. Location is never used to track physical movement.
- Account Credentials: Email addresses and user profile data stored securely via Supabase Authentication.
3. Self-Serve Account & Data Deletion (Play Policy 4.8)
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated records at any time:
• In-App: Profile ➔ Preferences ➔ Delete Account.
• Online: Visit our Account Deletion Portal or email support@plantus.app.
All accounts enter a 14-day grace period during which logging back in cancels the deletion. After 14 days, all records are permanently erased from our production databases.
4. Data Encryption & Security
All network transmissions are secured via TLS 1.3 encryption. Data stored in our database utilizes AES-256 cloud encryption. We never sell or license personal data to third-party ad networks.
